"Christmas in the Mansion" set for December 5 – 7Posted on Nov 15, 2008
Lauralton Hall’s major annual benefit, “Christmas in the Mansion,” now in its nineteenth year, will be open to the public on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 5 through 7. The school’s historic 19th Century Victorian Gothic mansion is the venue for more than 50 specialty boutiques, gourmet foods and Santa. New, unique exhibitors have been added to the exhibitor line up this year, so you’ll be sure to find the perfect gift for anyone on your Christmas gift list. The decorating theme, "Winter Wonderland," promises a unique new look for this year's event. To access more detailed information--ticket prices, opening and closing times and more--about this truly magnificent "showcase of the season," use the “CIM Information" link to the right. For a partial list of exhibitors, access the “CIM 2008 Exhibitors" link; for directions to Lauralton Hall, open the "CIM Directions" link. “Christmas in the Mansion” weekend traditionally opens with a very special reservation-only event. The Preview Gala, to be held this year on Thursday, December 4, is an exciting evening of early Christmas shopping, the first look at our “showcase of the season,” caroling, hors d’oeuvres, light buffet and cocktails. Use the link on this page to access the Preview Gala reservation form. This event is very popular, so please reserve early and note that reservations must be received by November 24. Lauralton parents and alumnae are reminded that many, many hands are needed throughout the weekend to make this event successful. Use the "CIM Volunteer Sign-up" link to download the staffing form and sign up NOW. Questions about volunteer shifts for CIM should be directed to Event Co-coordinator Catherine Lopata (clopata@lauraltonhall.org).
